Useful advice, without the theatre
Travel writing is full of hotels that were never visited and prices that were never checked. These guides are built differently.
Hotel details come from the hotel's own website, not from a press release or an old listing.
We do not claim to have stayed somewhere when we have not, and we do not invent reviews or rankings.
Prices and transport schedules change, so the guides tell you what to check rather than pretending a figure is fixed.
Every article links to the hotels and areas it mentions, so you can go from advice to a real shortlist.
