Hotels near Walking Street

Stay close to Pattaya's nightlife and Bali Hai Pier. Hotels are sorted by straight-line distance from the middle of Walking Street, measured on the map.

Walking Street runs along the south end of Pattaya Bay, from the bottom of Beach Road to Bali Hai Pier, where ferries leave for Koh Larn. In the evening it closes to traffic and fills with bars, clubs, seafood restaurants and street performers.

Staying within a kilometre or so means you can walk back instead of finding a baht bus late at night. The trade-off is noise: rooms facing the street, or the sois behind it, can be loud until the early hours, so light sleepers should ask for a high floor on the quiet side.

Distances below are straight lines from the middle of Walking Street to each hotel's map position, so the walk is usually a little longer.

Tips before you choose

Beach Road or the sois

Hotels on Beach Road look over the bay; those on Second Road and the sois in between are often cheaper and only a few minutes further on foot.

Ask for a quiet room

Tell us if you are a light sleeper. We ask the hotel for a higher floor away from the street when we request your rate.

Handy for Koh Larn

Bali Hai Pier is at the end of Walking Street, so a hotel nearby makes an early ferry to Koh Larn easy.

Common questions

Is it easy to walk back from Walking Street at night?

From hotels within about a kilometre, yes: Beach Road and Second Road are busy and lit until late. For anything further, baht buses and ride-hailing apps run late too. As in any nightlife area, keep valuables close.

Is Walking Street open in the daytime?

Yes. It is an ordinary road during the day and closes to traffic in the evening, when most bars and clubs open.

Are there cheaper rooms near Walking Street?

Plenty. Many small hotels and guesthouses on the sois nearby are in our directory as basic listings. Sort the directory by distance to Walking Street, or ask us to shortlist a few for your budget.
